Greetings,

First time trying to adjust my valves. I started out using back end method but didn't really feel confident. So I purchased the valve lash tool from Pelican. I tried checking it with the backend method and neither the .025 nor .030 will go in??

My questions are,

At the 1mm mark should I be able to check using back end method?

How much up and down play should I feel?

Lateral play?
