Fastfred's thread on dying reminded me of the question what makes one elderly? Is it a certain age, a state of mind, or just physical appearance ??
I've become very aware the past few years of local news broadcasts, articles in newspapers, etc. often referring to people in their early 60's as being elderly, i.e. an elderly couple, an elderly man, an elderly woman. So it appears if you are 60+ you are elderly news wise.
BS... I'm 70 and have definitely slowed down a bit but for the most part can do most anything I could do when I was 40. (maybe with a little help from my friends
). I know some of you other OWG's must feel the same way.
So PPOT, when exactly does one become elderly ?
