[VINMAN]

One of my cases, back in the spring was a 43y/o male found dead on his front step. Long time Tri-athelete, did crossfit, awesome shape, etc, etc... just came back from a run. Also a brother firefighter. All I can remember during my interview with the family, was his teenage daughters screaming and crying, how " there is no way he could have died, because he was too young, so healthy and took care of himself, somebody did this to him. There was no way they could possibly live without him". Had to be restrained to keep them away from the body.

Was a tough one. I had to walk away, gain my composure a bit and come back to finish.
Guy had an underlying medical issue we found during autopsy. Unknown to him or his MD.
