I hope its not in poor taste to post on 9/11 and didn't want to but here goes..
Yesterday was very productive. Last night i painted the suspension parts in black gloss PPG acrylic urethane [very much like factory finish]
I also Zinc Primer'd the inside cavities where i could in the suspension parts.
Zinc will migrate around in humid conditions and attach itself to unprotected steel. Porsche's experiments with zinc in the mid/late 1960s taught them this. Plating is done as well.
Fenders have another coat of epoxy primer and need wet sanding w 400 and we shall see if ready for paint.
I realized last night i'm very close to having wheels bolted up.
Wish i wasn't so darn busy or I'd be driving my Stinger 912R by now !
