So yours is yet another one that has sheared off,
I was probably lucky getting the threaded bit out, there was so much much dirt in there, I had to give it a real good clean to get it screwed in to start with.. I don't know anybody that owns a 944 or I'd check it out. The thread is definitely a one off . need something as it is neer impossible to hook on anywhere else.
I'll ask on the 944 forum and see if someone can post a pic'
