Yes, the cues used by Gleason and Newman are very valuable collector's items.
To stay on topic...there are tales of valuable collector cues being picked up in pawn shops, garage sales, and thrift shops.
(edit) This website offers a few Balabushkas for sale. The one using the Burton Spain (another deceased cue maker) blank was especially sweet. I had the pleasure of shooting a few balls with a Burton Spain cue a couple of weeks ago. Owned by a retired MD in Salem. He was practicing on a table near ours, so we swapped cues for a while. The hit of that Spain cue was magical...I thanked the man for the experience...
