I don't think so. There is a distinct difference between someone who looks good to be healthy, or wins to be able to say they gave it their all and the narcissist who looks good because he needs to feel better looking than others and the the narcissist who wins because the thought of loss causes pain and suffering out of proportion to the situation.
Most people can pick up the difference almost immediately when meeting a narcissist. There is something slightly off even at the first greeting of someone with this illness. And yes it is an illness categorized as a personality disorder.
