Looks like Maryland wants to be California..... Wait til they start treating your car registration like property tax. I remember a day when I had a 1978 930 Turbo in Ohio and the registration cost $50 for the next 50 years since it was more than 25 years old!!! When I moved to California I was told to start paying $125 per year, but then they also told me with the engine mods I had that it would never smog in California anyway so just dont even bring it to Cali. Thats not good news for you folks in MD, your emission laws are already the same as CA, they will likely keep pushing for more and more control.
