1965 Coupe, came with SC emblem and rear leaf (not reinstalled, but included) , non-matching earlier engine built to super90 spec, black heads, 9.5cr, zenith carbs,and runs like it.123 digital programmable distributor, restored air cleaners, powder on tin (satin as it should be),uninstalled thermostatic carb heat complete. New complete autos intl dark green vinyl w green/grey squareweave and ivory headliner. Dash and guages very nice. Restored wheel.
All rot removed, new floors, longs, sills, rockers, closing panels, batery box floor, etc done very nicely, I need to get it on the lift to take pics. Suffice to say , very nice.
Bare metal respray in Ivory all PPG(orig was light ivory w/ red- which i am not fond
of.)All new brakes , lines, dual circuit master cyl, bushings where needed. This car is tight and handles like a go-cart.
Halogens w relays, starter relayed, 6v.
This past weekend I drove to the Larz Anderson Porsche day in Boston from my home on the new york/ma line , 150 each way , at 75 to I dont wanna say each way, and the car performed flawlessly.
The car was done over a 3 year period by me, I know what it is. There may be 1 quart of bondo on the car. I see alot of these cars, and this car has no irregular curves or ripples. It was blocked it at least 5 times and it is stunning.There is no clear coat, only catylized acrylic urethane that has the luster of original paint. I have all the non outlaw parts that you dont see, bumpers , excellent over riders front and rear, visors, a very nice set of chrome 5.5 inch wheels w cloisonne caps as well as the 9.5 # 951 forged wheels and new Kumho ta71s that are on it. The ride hieght is in the weeds right now, the way I want it. The radio is the original dealer installed unit, I need speakers, but have the mounts and grills w/ cloth (perfect.)
