Maybe we're referring to different years? The motor in the '87s forward were bullet proof, and potent. Mine was capped at 150 mph max, and would do it while the car was absolutlely stable at that speed. Tranny was bullet proof too....I was a speed shififting demon, redlining fool for 100k miles...fun times
