I must say as one of the earlier buyers through the group buy I feel a little used. The quality of my bumper cap when it arrived was not what was expected.
First off no lip to mount the rubber spoiler, which was one of the main reasons I voted for BW over the other vendors, answer was mold changed since Bill V got his piece.
My signal lights fit horribly (see previous Ruf post). This required cutting out the boxed section and redoing it to get them to mount nicely. You would think they went to the trouble of drilling the holes to mount the signals that they would notice the lights stuck out almost 1/2". They still need some work but that will be saved for a winter project.
The bumper was cut incorrectly from the mold, it didn't sit centered on the car and on the right hand side too much material had been trimmed so it didn't extend under the fenders far enough to overlap the mounting holes.
The tabs for fog light mounting also needed some work to get the lights to fit reasonably.
While I'm glad the guys getting caps now are happy, I feel a little like a guinea pig being one of the earlier people to fork over their money. What happened to getting the product right the first time around, or quality control?
I'm sure Brad is a nice guy and seems to be standing behind his product and working to improve it, but as a first time customer I am disappointed with the experience.
Anyway after a lot of work on my part they turned out OK
