The biggest variable wiil be the impact wrench....my Ingersol Rand is a beast. If the compressor is putting out 90 psi, then the size of the tank won't matter much on a wrench....makes a big difference on continuous flow however. I use my small tank the most...putting down hardwood floors, the 3/8 hose was limiting the nailer from clean nails through 3/4" hickory....swapped hoses/fittings to 1/2"... problem solved.
