replacing numbers match engine
I've got a 73 911S that Ollies is repairing the original case for me. I then want to take the internals from the engine in the car (believed to be proper/original internals) and move to the original case. The current engine is fresh. Do I still need to replace the rod and main bearings, or is it OK to transfer them to the newly machined case provided I keep their same positioning?
