High end furniture is marked up 4-500% if one is shopping in a retail store. In a few weeks, 100k industry insiders will be visiting High Point to decide what the stores that Tabby visits will offer their customers. Hopefully the representatives of Tabby's stores don't come to town wearin' draggin' azz jeans....that might work at the second tier LV furniture trade show...but not here
. These shows aren't open to the publc....literally millions of square ft. of permanent showrooms here. High Point is called "the furniture capital of the world" for a reason. I'm pretty sure the cream of the selections never see a retail store. To be clear...I don't run in those circles....neither does Julia Roberts evidently.
