'Bout the only outdoor festival I've attended more than 4--5 times that hasn't been rained on a time or six was Street Scene in SD...that's southern CA for ya though....my girl and I could fly out, stay for several days on $20 back then
. Jazz Fest in the mud...a few. I avoid the big stages usually....heard some awesome bands that way. Used to help with outdoor blues festivals...rained on a few....some big names took their headliner checks and never played a note. Most memorable was Snooks and Bob M (Gogar knows
) playing in an old train depot turned into an impromptu venue....they f'ing rocked for a few hundred faithful.
I fished in the rain most of the morning...got drenched, didn't catch a thing...had a blast.
