Am running H4s with 80/110 bulbs with relays in both my cars and am happy with light output even on wet roads. Sure beats the crap out of 55/60s. Good cutoff on lows and not obnoxious to oncoming. Not sexy or bleeding edge. Add driving lights and turn night into day. From what I have researched, incandescent bulbs natural yellow light provide better illumination than similar output with white or blue units. Don't feel like I am settling using 80/110s.
My A6 has Xeons which really throw out the light but the cut off line is so low as to not blind oncoming that I find them frustrating. Highs are great tho. Always a trade off.
