It was really maddening and she will still trick me sometimes by leaping from the car while still in the driveway to check on something she thinks she forgot only to find it in her purse.
Patience and leaving in separate cars to functions that I must be on time to are my solution. There is no 'fixing" this.

Sounds Obsessive Compulsive... I just have to go check on the stove 7 times to make sure I turned it off. Then I have to check the front door 4 times to make sure I locked it...
