Yep, that's a 914 engine case number by the oil breather opening. The other is the correct location for 911 engine. IIRC, the site for the 914 number and the site for the 911 number are on the same side of the case, so you would not have two separate halves. Most likely the 911 number was stamped on a blank area because it would not have any markings there if it was a 914 engine.
Further looking makes me think the front number is
fake. The digits look too large and there are no stars before and after the number.
