You just have to be willing to be shunned from the majority of the purists for such a crazy idea though. A muffler is a muffler though, as long as it's not too restrictive it's purpose is to reduce the exhaust signiture. It doesn't need to be made out of platinum.
I have the same on the supercharged car...I get compliments all day long on how great it sounds.

But I also have a M&K on another car and it is a very nice piece. And an OEM original 2-in-1-out that is still solid and sounds great at 46 years of age.
