To be fair, in 2009, air-cooleds were still considered clunky bottom-of-the-barrel turds when it came to fine collectible motorcars. It wasn't till a few years later that everyone suddenly realized, oddly at the same time, that they were actually amazing and legendary icons and that they had in fact always dreamed of having one.
