It does rain here a lot in the northwest. I would have sworn a few years ago that we had 100 days of rain but looked it up and record for days of consecutive rain in seattle is only 33.
But what makes it all much more depressing is how little daylight there is in the winter. Some days it gets light just before 8am, gets dark again just after 4pm.
Go to work in the dark and rain, drive home in the dark and rain.
