That's nothing. When I'm driving one my un-restored cars around, it brings them out like bees to honey - seeing a humble, original-condition car is like blood in the water for these sharks. A few weeks ago, I was setting up a Westfalia tent on my bus to take pictures, and a guy rolled up and offered me a generous $100 on the spot.
I saw an ad for one of those "We buy any classic car" sites, so on a troll I sent them pictures of my '52 bug and told them I was interested in selling. They offered me $4500 for it.
