We have two cats, bro (Jingles) and sis (Noel), rescues, and we are in the process of moving across country. We have had them for around 8 years.

We are having remodeling work done so a transitional step was to take them to my MIL who is local. It was a horrible experience getting them into the carriers. The boy scratched me good so I had to wear a long sleeved jacket to diminish the bloodletting.

We got them to my MILs and they have been there three days now and they aren't eating or drinking. I visited them yesterday and they are still pissed at me. They are under separate beds. I see them, but it wasn't long before they would turn their backs on me. I feel terrible now, especially since at some point in the near future we have to take them across country.

I absolutely do not want to be the person putting them in the carriers again. I need to figure out how to get someone else to do that so my wife and I can bring them with us.

Here they are in a happier time. Noel is on top. Jingles is in the tube.
