I've been considering a Triumph and I really like the look of these. Unlike most cruisers the early ones seem to have decent power (60hp), don't weigh a huge amount compared to a Sportster, Shadow, or V-star, and I think they look pretty cool. They also seem reasonably priced compared to what people want for Bonnevilles, which are pretty scarce around here anyway (nearest used Bonnie for sale on Craigslist - Dayton, Ohio).

Any Pelicans own or ride this model?
