Another I've occasionally kicked tires is the 77 and up 308 GTS. They've seemed to pattern the 80's era run-of-the-mill 911 series.
Either way, I think if someone wanted to jump in and enjoy for awhile then eventually get it out their system and resell, you won't lose. Both these era cars are of the DIY generation too. Though Ferrari buyers want to see dealer stamps and receipts, I think there's an exception to the 308. Good PPI works for me.
