Cool! I grew up in Port Huron so the freighters were a big part of my life. We still go to the St. Clair river to watch for them when we go back. Of course, I get all "Cliff Claven" talking about them to my kids. OT here but although it was many years ago I'm sure that whenever there is mention of the wreck of the EF or when you hear GL's classic song, your family reflects on that difficult time back in Nov 1975. Very similarly, my best buddy lost his younger brother in a private plane accident in Northern Alberta ...on the evening of September 10, 2001....about ten hours before the first plane hit the WTC in NY.
