I test drove a pristine 1 owner 246 GT about 35 years ago...totally rebuilt by Los Gatos (CA) Ferrari. A grey silver with matching new leather, rebuilt motor, and a $8k paint job. All manuals with original paperwork...the works!
They wanted $36k and I was tempted (I had wood) but my business had not yet taken off and I had a condo w/carport only. A pity!!!
My g/f at the time wanted me to take the jump. "I have room in my garage."
It was the first day that they had rolled it out.
I went back 2 days later just to drool and ponder - SOLD!
Yes, now look at them. Grr...
