the 12-24-36 hour track are very good
4-5 days out are not as good
surge depends on the topography of the location
and the angle of the hurricane approach
then add the wave height to the surge if on a barrier island
if the eye wall hits or is very near tornado's are a big problem
light wind and rain here now in south miami-dade county
