Just like 4/8 years ago...follow the money imo.
.22lr is easily found here, but the big players are definitely manipulating supplies in order to keep demand up and prices too. Gander Mtn, Field & Stream, etc have plenty....I don't even bother checking at Wallyworld if there for fishing supplies, etc. ...they typically still don't have any.
I'm set...got all the CCI I need for $8/100 from Gander several months back as I was in the store several times over a two week period. There is NO shortage imo...
One day...only crappy stuff
Next day a table is rolled out with hundreds of boxes of CCI.
Next day...crap
Rinse, lather, repeat...
