Steps were falling apart every five years or so.
Opened 'er up and found cancer inside.
Filled core with concrete. Re-mortared bricks with Type S. Packed that baby. Don't be lazy and add too much water.
(but I'm a bit ashamed to post final and still not done w/touch up on surface.)
