Well, since it's a cab you should be hesitant. The market is very funny on these unless it's a 1983 and has that mileage. They are an acquired taste. People seem to take them even less seriously than Targas.
What did one sell for new in 1987? I'm sure it's sweet.
Everything is a roll of the dice, so before putting it up on BaT, why not take some time and take some real photographs and put it up here with a nice description. Since it's a 'family' car I would take the time. Don't just throw it up on BaT. Right now even in this forum we're working with nothing but your words and no photos...
