You can't know the effect on final accel, w/o knowing the torque curve of the engine.
Example: 930 with a 4-speed is fine for that relatively flat torque. A Tesla with flatter torque curve and a 1-speed (direct) drive .... 6+ gears on a 2-stroke bike would be appropriate to the peaky power.
