If the water next to those trees is a pond. Follow the waterway both up and downstream and find their hutch, Big round pile of sticks. The go upstream of the hutch and find their dam. Damage the dam so it is no longer functional. They will do dam repair and forage closer to their hutch for a while. After they repair it, bust it again, keep them busy as beavers.
