Agree with others, the episode was flirting with my tolerance for graphic violence. My son is 19 and struggled to keep his composure during the hatchet scene with Rick and Carl. We as a family did not enjoy the episode at all and have since collectively wondered if there is any desire left to continue watching. The next episode may be the decider.
Guess I'm a light weight with this stuff. Wife and I watched Braveheart in the theater when it was released. By the torture scene I told my wife I was out of there if they got graphic. Having recently seen that movie again I was shocked how tame the violence was compared to current movies and TV programming.
Edit - we watched the follow-on Talking Dead. Am I alone here in thinking that the writers, namely Robert Kirkman, come off like A**H****?
