My 77 Targa had same code, 436. As I understand, it was a two year color only for Porsche, 1976 and 77. My car had a lousy repaint so I stripped it and repainted it with PPG base/clear. Looks reddish brown in daylight, but at night under fluorescent lighting or street lights, looks metallic red.
