Thin people can be a challenge but have repeatedly been told the issue is too little fat in the abdominal cavity allows the colon to move around when being scoped...which makes advancing the scope challenging, uncomfortable and long. Remodeling (surgery) can create twist and turns where there may previously have been none. However, surgery to remove a significant segment can make the distance and procedure much shorter.
