Went for my follow up with my PCP today. Going to have a colonoscopy in about 6 weeks to see how much damage there is. Surgery is still not being ruled out but he told not to worry about it too much. Everything else is great AND he took me off of the BP meds for a few weeks.
He did say that it probably was not such a bad event due to my physical condition, meaning that I am not a grossly overweight, alcoholic, smoker.
When I advised my wife of the visit I told her "He said that because I am so GD awesome the problem wasn't as bad as it could have been".
