I didn't look at the list. Why? Because I am a living witness to the 70's.
No body wanted to defect and buy outside of Detroit. So... as a fresh dude just back from
Vietnam.. I decided to stop the commute breakdowns that fellow "All Americans" had to put up with.
The Damn Pintos and Vegas... others too. Gremlins... my God... the cars were crap...
I know it but worked in a Union and you know the deal... Buy outside the Union American car and you have a target on your head. True story.
I traded in my 1973 beetle for a Corolla and that sum-***** ran forever.
It was a huge message to people in Detroit. I suspect that some of those ass-wipes that destroyed our auto industry are reading this now in the twilight years. 90 plus. **** you.
