Unused pair of S.E.V. Marchal Amplilux headlights
p/n 62 82903, flat lens LHD version, 12Volt, 7" 178mm diameter.
Excellent, as-new condition. These are rare, hard to find, complete lamps, including H1 and H3 bulbs and rear splash covers, with the original instructions (and copies).
I bought these headlights, along with a number of other Marchal racing lights in apx 1975, from the Marchal importer, thinking I would use them on my offroad race cars. I set them aside to wait for a very special vehicle on which to install them. Sometime in the mid ‘90’s I temporarily mounted them in experimental retracting brackets for a high speed boat project that I was building (never finished it) and they have been sitting there unused ever since. They have never been wired up to anything, installed on a moving vehicle or even exposed to sunlight.
Note that these are “…the only 7” round lampset on which the high beam can be adjusted independently of the low beam aim…”
