Never heard of him before I saw 'On Any Sunday' about 20 years ago, but like all of the people in the film, he looked like a happy man enjoying what he loves to do. I used to see him in the pits at Ascot, didn't know him but my friends did.
I was in that movie covered in mud. I raced the next two years in that Elsinore GP and one year started front line in the 250 Expert class.
