Not saying Verstappen wasn't in the wrong, but Red Bull and Ferrari aren't exactly friendly with each other and Verstappen was being a good team player. If he was not penalized he'd finish 3rd, with Ricciardo probably 4th. If penalized after the race then Dan would probably be 3rd, having hopefully able to pass Vettel (he was gaining a second a lap anyway after the new tires). Ricciardo let Verstappen by earlier in the race, maybe this was Max's way of trying to pay it back?

Don't like penalty-free runoff areas. Hamilton did the same as Verstappen and got nothing (thought the VSC made the advantage moot).
