I once had a boss say to me "Don't be so bloody co ck sure of yourself."

I hadn't actually heard that expression before but a friend said it's what old fellas used to say back in the day.

I certainly wasn't doing any alpha dog behaviour, or my dick is bigger than your dick stuff. I suspect he had a particuarly lacking anatomy and trying to make up for it.
