Many years ago I was in Jeanette PA on a business trip.
I had about 2 weeks worth of work to do and was eager to get it done and come home.
One morning I showed up at the plant and it was M-T.
No one was there but the security guard and as few white-hats (bosses).

I said, WTF?
Guard said it was opening day of deer season, most of the employees called in sick.
They closed the plant down for deer hunting. Unbelievable.

in Kalifornia I could count on one hand the number of people I know who have ever been deer hunting.
