fwiw, I ran SSI's on my carbed 2056, in part because I needed heat living in the northeast. Ran great. Maybe I left a few HP on the table, but as an AX,DE,Weekend car, it really didn't matter too much vs having warmth for early and late season events and even winter (non snow) use.
