I've had bouts with those "orange ladybugs" 2-3 separate occasions over the years as I'd come home in the afternoon and they'd be concentrated on just one particular southern facing upper palladium window....out comes the vacuum. They'll stink up a vacuum bag after a few days

. I determined they were coming/going from the HVAC floor vent after a few bouts....don't like 'em. My parents occasionally have similar incidents with larger "potato bugs" on their southern facing glass storm door.
