I thought that might be a possibility but I had no way to verify..... Thank goodness I have a Durametric diagnostic system analyzer thingy but my fabulous Windows computer that gets used once in a blue moon and then promptly acts up decided to act up so I could not use this to test or fix the problem and since I live in the Boonies I have to wait till either that laptop gets fixed or I decide to put Windows on my Mac Book, I'd hate to do that but I may have to.

you might even be able to sale him the cable after you show him how it works.
