In my younger days (late '60's) I took a multi-thousand mile motorcycle trip around the US and into Canada.
A BMW R60 US, loaded properly and I wore helmet/leathers/boots, etc.
When I got off the ferry to Victoria, BC and was stopped by the Canadian boys the first and only thing they asked me was, "Are you carrying a firearm?"
I said, "No!" That was it...they let me pass on though.
I was warned ahead of time to NOT take a firearm into Canada.
As I sped away I looked in my mirror and three long-haired and bearded hippies (on the ferry w/me) were taking everything off their raked Harleys.
I was packing a Ruger .41 mag.
Whew!!!
