There were definitely 930s going for $150k+ at auction at the peak.
And the fact that many sold for $30k not all that long ago is exactly the point I was making - name another highly regarded legend and icon, sought after and respected by collectors around the world, that regularly sells for $30k. And that's not even counting other aircooleds that practically went for pennies. The reason? My apparently *highly* controversial hot-take is that it's because demand was lower. Today's (and 2015's) higher prices are due to new demand from the moneyed collector set, which materialized quickly and IMO was fueled by evolving groupthink.
And turbo owner, your conniption over some nobody on an inconsequential enthusiast forum having a different opinion from you sure says a lot.
