What is the true price of cargo being delayed, or not arriving at all, additional insurance for an accident on corporate record, hotels and expenses while waiting, paperwork ad nauseum, and desperate phone calls after hours trying to find equipment you need to get back on the road?
Or the price of a deadly accident to yourself or others?

The new axles should come with zirk grease fittings for the bearings at least.
There are also hub meters and other slick heat/tire monitoring technology out there (for tractor/trailers but maybe smaller trailers also).
