We had a fairly big competition three weeks ago that I got talked into competing in. I've been really slack about turning up at gun club for shoots. Just turning up at BBQ lunch time and talking with everyone

But what I did was turn up half an hour early and did holster draw practice with a correct draw+target acquisition+trigger pull without moving the gun off target. I'm sure the (faster than normal) draw gave me an extra second, and with dry firing for half an hour... I got a third.
